Please welcome Katlyn

Life. We all exist here for a reason. To correspond with the world around us each and every day. Sometimes life isn't want we think or want it to be, but that's where we need to sit back and realize it is something that we need to embrace!

I have learned through my own life experiences that it isn't worth being pushing yourself further down in the dumps where it's so easy to stay. You need to realize that through you brushing off that little speck of hurt, pull yourself together, and be passionate about your life you will learn to live happier and be able to conquer the world!

I feel that the world now days has this image to it, where people think that if they don't 'fit in' with all the styles and groups that you'll be cast away and never looked at again. I want this blog to help you realize that you are Bea-YOU-tiful just the way you are, as yourself. You can be your own person and do what you'd like. Don't follow the crowd. Embrace your life as yours!

In this world there is too much lying. Too much backstabbing and climbing the ladder for you. Well, let's stop this! Let's join forces and inspire people to love and work together as one! Show others that they can embrace themselves as their own while helping others rise above it all with you!

♥♥♥

Being inspired is great. Inspiring others is something incredible!
In my own blog, The Dreamy Meadow, I try to push raw honesty onto people to show them that this life isn't all puppies and rainbows. That there are tough things that go along with it. And with the raw honesty that I push out I feel like I can help those around me who may be struggling with the same issues that I may have went through or maybe still am. I feel like using my voice to express my feelings and life is a way of letting go of negative thoughts and embracing something better. It allows me to close that chapter of my life story and start writing another.

I hope you can hear my voice here as well. I want you to realize that there are tons of reasons why your life is worth it and why you should embrace everything that goes along with it.

Please welcome Paige!

Hi Everyone!
I'm a bit new here and I thought I'd introduce myself with my first post!
Is that alright?
Good!
Well, first off, my name is Paige and I'm 21 years old and in my second year of nursing school which is my fourth year of college. I'll graduate in either August or December 2013.

I'm also married to the love of my life, Cody.
We were engaged after six months and married in a private ceremony in Gatlinburg, TN after 11 months.

And I don't regret that decision for a second.

In high school, I struggled, just like any girl to fit in and I was depressed at least 90% of the time, mostly because of some family troubles that I'm not going to elaborate on right now.

This continued throughout high school and into college.
It got a bit better but not by much when I was able to pay my own way through life and I had some independence.

But I still felt down all the time and didn't have the resources to get help.

Then one day, I decided enough was enough. I was going through life in a daze, living but not really. I was waiting for my life to begin without realizing that this was life. So why not live the way I want?

The change wasn't sudden but it was a conscious effort.

The major thing was that I decided that every single day had something good. See, it was so easy for me to focus on the hard and upsetting parts of my day, even the small ones. The smallest thing would send me into a spiral of sadness and I couldn't find the good parts.

So I decided to make myself remember something good about each day. For awhile I did this on my blog. Every Friday I'd take each day of the week and write what was good about it.

Sometimes it was something big, like when I got my new laptop.
Other times it was small things, like getting a krispy kreme donut.

It didn't matter. The point was that it was the good part of the day. Something that made me smile or made me think "You know, I'm really happy that I'm here"

So there are two points to this post.
The first was to introduce myself and I hope I did an alright job of that. I promise to reveal more to you later!

The second was to tell you how I consciously embrace life everyday. Every single day that you live has something good in it. Sometimes it's hard to see those things but I promise they are there. And when you realize even the small things, embracing life is easy.

Four tips for getting back on track

The past week has been so crazy. We were sick for an entire week and trying to take care of yourself, sick kids, your house, working and be someone coherent to have a conversation with your husband when he gets home from work, can be so exhausting and take so much out of you and leave your house looking like a mess. Putting everything back together can seem like a completely unbelievable task, so here are a few tips that I use when this happens in our home.

One. Ask for help.
Biggest one. Sunday afternoon, my husband helped me clean and I couldn't thank him enough for that. As women we feel we should be able to do it all, but we can't always and asking for help is completely okay.

Two. Start slow.
Don't throw yourself back into cleaning your house full force, playing with the kids, doing all the laundry, making dinner, etc. You will burn out fast. Take it one room at a time and stop when it just seems to be too much that way you can do the other things you need to do.

Three. Write a schedule.
Schedule the next few days out. Even if it's a lose one. Write down what rooms you want to clean what day. What tasks need to get done, etc. This will help so much. Before you know it - everything will be crossed off that list.

Four. Make extra for dinner.
While you are trying to get back on track from everyone being sick for so long or being in a slump. Make a little extra for dinner that night, that way tomorrow you can have left overs so that omits cooking the next night and allows you to do the other things you need to get done.

Those are my top four tips. How do you get back on track after being majorly sick?

Broken

{Pulled it off facebook}

One thing that is true as ever is that quote above.
Things happen.
Life get's chaotic.
We get beaten down.
& we break.

You are not alone in this. But remember that even though you feel broken, the pieces can be put back together again.

Inspire someone

There is this girl I know. She is actually my best friend and I remember seeing this and all I could think of was her. She unknowingly inspires me by simply being herself. She is so true to herself. Real. Honest. Funny. Sweet. It's an inspiration to know someone who can be all those things and more. Sometimes you just don't know when you are inspiring someone, you don't know that your words are lifting someone up. Your story is giving someone hope. Who you are in general is making someone happy.

She is the type of friend who is always there for you. Listens to you. Gives you advice. Talks with you about the craziest conversations, which are hilarious. She is your rock in a hard place and you know she will always be there for you.

Do you have someone like that in your life? Are you that person for someone else? Inspire someone by simply being you.

Do you have a bucket list?

A bucket list includes all the goals you want to achieve, dreams you want to fulfill, and life experiences you want to have. It serves as a reminder of what's important ~ your goals and dreams ~ and inspires you to accomplish them. A bucket list has UNLIMITED potential. It includes anything and everything, crazy or wacky, big or small. If you don't have a bucket list, create one. It's FREE. It takes less than an hour to create, and, once you have it, you'll know what you want out of life. It's like a map for your journey. If you already have a bucket (or resolution ... or goal) list, leave a comment and share the link. I love reading lists that others have made. I'm constantly revising my own based on the ideas from someone else. Remember, a bucket list is a LIVING document. It's going to change as goals are accomplished or revised. Since 2010, I've created an annual RESOLUTIONS LIST of things I want to do throughout the year. I have also created a list called 99 Things that I want to accomplish. To create a bucket list, get a sheet of paper (or open a new text document on your computer) and a writing utensil. Personally, I like to write so pen-and-paper are my preference, but you might be a digital kind of person. When you're ready, answer these questions: Write or type as fast as you can. Don't worry about spelling or neatness, this is a simple list-making task that you can edit and revise later. Don't stop until you have at least 100 items. If you get stuck, you're probably limiting yourself. UNLEASH YOUR IMAGINATION!!!! Your bucket list is anything and everything you want to achieve, do, see, feel and experience in life. Once you have your list, GET BUSY!!!!!!! Put your list in a place where you'll see it every day. Share your list with others. This will not only keep YOU accountable, but it might inspire them to create a list of their own. Finally, keep your list CURRENT. If you complete a task, cross it out. Read your list regularly to add, remove, or edit tasks. More bucket list examples:
I look forward to reading YOUR bucket list!!!!

On following the crowd

{I found this picture on facebook}

I absolutely love this quote. How often do you find yourself trying to follow the crowd? Trying to keep up with what everyone else is doing because you "should" be doing it too. I am not a big follower of crowds. Granted there are things that other's do that I enjoying doing as well, but for the most part. I try to do my own thing and be my own person.

So when you find yourself trying to follow the crowd. Remember that beautiful quote above.
